My favorite salad: Mixed greens (these were fresh greens mixed with a few zesty herbs from the farmer’s market with queso fresco mexicano (queso fresco with the texture of feta) and some sunflower seeds. Sometimes I thrown in some slices of avocado, but I tend to keep my salads pretty basic. Really good fresh greens are so delicious on their own they don’t need much else. The salad dressing I’ve been living on lately is a Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette (bottled). The entire combo, esp with the fresh farmer’s market greens tastes like sunshine.
